This flower is known as Primula malacoides. A small pink flower, native to the Yunnan province in China, That has adapted very well to our gardens. In addition to this species, Primula Acaulis also gives another charm to our flower beds. Primroses are already starting to color our gardens, they are the first sign of the new season: Spring. They bloom at this time of year taking advantage of the light that reaches the soil - deciduous trees are still stripped of the compact foliage which allows more light to easily reach the lower plants. In Portugal there are several names for this small flower: Pão-e-queijo, Prímula, Pão-de-leite, Rosas-da-Páscoa, among others.
